This was delicioussssss.
Also, A thought it was pulled pork... don't know if that's a selling point or not - but it tasted yummy. D loved it... and E ate only biscuits :)
Honey BBQ Crock Pot Chicken and Biscuits
We use organic, fair trade, and or local ingredients when possible.
1 pound of boneless skinless chicken breasts
1/8 cup of Braggs apple cider vinegar (it matters – just buy it)
1/4 cup of brown sugar
1/2 cup of ketchup
1 cup of water
1 tbs of molasses
2 tbs of honey
1 tsp of garlic powder
1 tsp of onion powder
1 tsp of chili powder
1 tsp of paprika
Dump all ingredients in crock pot. Cook until you can pull chicken apart with two forks (about 3 hours on low for me… but use your judgment).
I use this biscuit recipe (with half whole wheat flour).
We topped with a piece of Swiss cheese and it was delicious.
